Meghan Kirkwood (b. 1981) was born and raised in southern New Hampshire and currently lives and works in New Orleans, Louisiana. An honors graduate of Grinnell College, Rhode Island School of Design, she recently earned her MFA degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. Kirkwood has exhibited nationally and in Europe. Her documentary interests range in scope from discussions of individual relationships to national histories to proposals for a landscape photography reflective of Aldo Leopold’s “land aesthetic."
